Model X-1

This Model X-1 handcrafted Kolrosing woodcarving knife has a pre-sharpened carefully curved high carbon tool steel blade with a hand turned Honduras rosewood handle that is shaped like a caligraphy pen. Kolrosing is a little known but beautiful craft having Scandinavian roots. Kolrosing is done by drawing with the kolrosing knife just like you would with a pencil (no shaving is removed).  Cuts are highlighted by rubbing dark powder in the groove, then varnished.
